LIN Yu-Ching & WEI Hsing-Yu
LIN Yu-Ching & WEI Hsin-Yu have been collaborating for over 16 years. In their creative universe, they balance colors evenly to create works that are rich and smooth in texture. This careful distribution of tones results in a visually harmonious and even composition, with the artists meticulously allocating hues within the busy rhythm of the painting, creating an ecological balance. The interconnected objects within their series lend a synchronicity reminiscent of ancient murals—long stories unfold across a single wall, allowing viewers to explore both the grand narrative and its intricate details. The recurring character “Wulala” serves as their artistic avatar, leading us through the emotional landscape of their work, inviting exploration of their poetic and deeply personal world.

MIZUTANI Atushi
Japan-born artist Atsushi Mizutani, who has long resided in Taiwan, will present a large-scale installation along with several new sculptural works. Centering his practice on the theme of “landscape,” Mizutani constructs poetic spaces that exist between memory and reality through wood sculpture combined with diverse materials. His focus extends beyond visible scenery to encompass landscapes buried deep within memory—those altered or forgotten by the passage of time.
These fragments intertwine within his works to form new configurations, reflecting both the interaction between humans and their surroundings and the shifting states of the inner self. Titled Landscape of Landscapes, this exhibition continues his exploration of perception and the dissonance of memory—when we look back upon familiar places, the images that surface within us have already changed through emotion, time, and environment. Mizutani seeks to capture these subtle shifts and flows, inviting viewers to rediscover the layers of memory and the evolving essence of landscape, embarking on a journey that lies between the external world and the inner mind.

KOO Bon-A
Korean artist KOO Bon-a, who recently opened her solo exhibition at Dynasty Gallery, presents several works being shown in Taiwan for the first time, including a large-scale painting measuring 260 cm in width. Her long-term practice explores the cyclical relationship between life and time, skillfully blending the lyrical qualities of traditional Korean painting with rich layers of color and texture to create vibrant compositions that bear her distinct personal style. The interwoven hues and brushstrokes serve both as marks of existence and as traces of time’s endless flow. Using dense Korean paper as her base, Koo cuts, collages, and layers materials, turning the paper itself into a striking visual element beyond pigment. These tactile surfaces add spatial depth while symbolizing the invisible imprints left by time. For Koo, art-making is a process of coexistence, dialogue, and pursuit with time—transforming fleeting emotions into visible forms and allowing viewers to sense the poetic traces of life within the continuum of time.
