KOO Bon-A

KOO Bon-a is a Korean artist specializing in Oriental painting. She holds a Ph.D. in Fine Arts from Hongik University. Combining traditional techniques with contemporary perspectives, her work continuously explores the layered relationships between time, memory, and landscape. She has held solo exhibitions at major institutions including the Seoul Arts Center, OCI Museum of Art, Incheon Art Platform, Dynasty Gallery in Taipei, and venues in Shanghai. Her work has been featured in prominent international exhibitions such as the Jeonnam Sumuk Biennale, the Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong, Taoyuan Museum of Fine Arts (Taiwan), the Beijing International Ink Design Biennale, Art Olympia at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center in India, Google Headquarters in the United States, and the K11 Art Foundation. Her works are part of the permanent collections of major institutions including the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA), Seoul Museum of Art, OCI Museum of Art, Incheon Art Platform, and the Muan Oh Seungwoo Museum of Art.

LIN Yu-Ching & WEI Hsing-Yu

Born in 1983 and 1982 respectively in Taiwan, LIN Yu-Ching and WEI Hsing-Yu form an artist duo whose collaborative practice spans over 17 years. Their works have been shown in numerous international art fairs and are included in the collections of major institutions such as the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (Taichung), the Dr. Stanley Ho Foundation (Macau), the Karen Leung Foundation (Hong Kong), and the Yan Lugen Art Foundation (Nanjing), among others. Their collectors are based across Hong Kong, Macau, China, the United States, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. They have also been invited to exhibit by institutions including the Yinchuan MOCA, Ratatà Festival, Pao-Gao Tech Park, and the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts.

Their paintings are known for their balanced gradation and harmonious color fields, evoking a tranquil visual atmosphere reminiscent of frescoes. Their narrative structure reflects a form of synchronic storytelling—akin to religious murals or Along the River During the Qingming Festival—where extended stories are condensed into a single image. Viewers can both grasp the whole at a glance and immerse themselves in detailed episodes across the surface. Recurring figures such as Wulala, a spirit-like guide, act as both avatars of the artists and gateways for the viewer into a vibrant world filled with uncertainty and hope. These imaginative worlds are often accompanied by poetic text—soft, whispering lines that suggest a subconscious murmur beneath reality—delicately rendered in visual form as microcosmic emotional landscapes.
